We study the class of edge-transitive graphs of square-free order and valency at most k. It is shown that, except for a few special families of graphs, only finitely many members in this class are basic (namely, not a normal multicover of another member). Using this result, we determine the automorphism groups of locally primitive arc-transitive graphs with square-free order.

In this paper, a classification is given for tetravalent graphs of square-free order which are vertex-transitive and edge-transitive. It is shown that such graphs are Cayley graphs, edge-regular metacirculants and covers of some graphs arisen from simple groups A7, J1 and PSL(2, p).

Let M(A, θ) be a free partially commutative monoid. We give here a necessary and sufficient condition on a subalphabet B ⊂ A such that the right factor of a bisection M(A, θ) = M(B, θB).T be also partially commutative free. This extends strictly the (classical) elimination theory on partial commutations and allows to construct new factorizations of M(A, θ) and associated bases of LK(A, θ).

We consider the transitive linear maps on the operator algebra $B(X)$for a separable Banach space $X$. We show if a bounded linear map is norm transitive on $B(X)$,then it must be hypercyclic with strong operator topology. Also we provide a SOT-transitivelinear map without being hypercyclic in the strong operator topology.
